Good morning, Gentle Readers!
Today's image, and a piece of poetry, are inspired by a friend who received some fantastic news yesterday. He had been dealing with a number of severe difficulties- including an illness. But he is whole now. Tal, this one's for you.
I danced in the darkness, danced through the pain
I danced when the demons said I couldn't gain
I danced when it was stormy, all the sky rain.
Now I dance in the light, put darkness to shame.
Naysayers defied, all hurt denied,
Even through tears I always still tried
Now in shared joy all evil deride.
If I should again have to dance in the rain
I danced so once and came out again!
