Good morning, Gentle Readers!
Yes, Autumn is coming. That is what prompted the creation of today's image. The days are still warm or even close to hot, but the nights have cooled off enough that I am reaching for the comforter when I go to sleep.
The leaves have started to turn, though only the most observant around here will notice. And the autumn equinox is less than a week away. The scent of pine is stronger now than it has been in a while, along with the other aromas associated with the change of the season. The children have started back to school- granted they protested every inch of the way. But it would be better for them to learn now than to find out the hard way they don't really know how things work when they become adults.
I do wonder what waits on the other side of fall and winter.
