Good Afternoon, Gentle Readers!Today's image is titled Wings. I made it loosely based on an older image, but with a twist of its own. The result is this image that looks like a cross between an angel and a butterfly.
I wasn't going to say anything else about New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day. But this morning in my correspondence, I found a blessing written by a gentleman known to some as Waycyber that I think is well worth sharing.
"As the old year passes,
May it take with it pain from harsh words said and received, disappointments, failures, sicknesses and injuries.
But may it leave the memories of loved ones, living and passed on, of laughter, and beauty, and mountains conquered.
As the new year begins.
May it bring hope, and courage, reconciliation, and forgiveness.
May old friendships be renewed and new ones forged.
May it be a time of health, and strength.
May you boldly face each challenge and leave it it conquered in your wake.
